Set up in 2003 by the Monoi Institute, the Monoi International Contest is a competition designed to raise awareness of Monoi de Tahiti among the professionals of the cosmetic industry. Every year on a different theme, a new aspect of Monoi de Tahiti is revealed via an original formula.
An International grand jury made up of marketing, formulation and innovation specialists assesses and elects the best projects. The most creative project earns a trip to French Polynesia.

Since 2003, 3 editions of the contest took place and successfully inspired projects from all over the world.
